CHRIS KURZ - Owner of Dynafit, Listowel

Chris Kurz (Kurzy) has been passionate about fitness since he joined Dynafit at the age of 14. After being a dedicated member for 15 years, his dedication to Dynafit led him to purchase and become the sole owner of the fitness facility. Chris has spent 20 years of his life helping others any way he can through fitness.

To date, he has participated in 3 ultra-marathons raising over $50,000 for Cystic Fibrosis Canada and performed three acts of strength in his Zamboni pull, car carry and pot of gold yoke events at Paddyfest raising over $43,000 for the Listowel Memorial Hospital, and $21,000 for the Salvation Army. Additionally, Chris is involved in multiple other charities in his daily life, including the Listowel Kinsmen Club and Listowel Legion. Chris has proven that his passion for supporting others has no limits. His gym is as supporting and welcoming as he is. His overwhelming kindness and great spirit create a welcoming atmosphere at Dynafit. 

When the Listowel Legionnaires folded in 2015, Kurzy saw an opportunity to once again support his community and realize a dream of owning a sports franchise. The Legionnaires are not only back and entertaining the area's baseball fans, but they are supporting the local Legion Branch, the kids of Listowel Minor Baseball, all the while making upgrades to the legendary John Bell South ballpark.

Tam has over 9 years working in the industry, plus 4 years working with the Laurier Athletic Therapy team, and Kinesiology research department. She has a lifelong love of sports, including swimming, hockey, and soccer, and most recently ball hockey.

Tam enjoys working with clients of all walks of life, and has experience working with degenerative diseases and injury rehabilitation. She is highly experienced in corporate wellness programming and enjoys working with companies to improve their overall employee wellness.

As manager, Tam enjoys working with staff and clients to offer the best customer experience possible.

CORY GEORGE - Personal Trainer & Strength Coach of the Listowel Legionnaires

Cory has been a trainer since 2013 and is passionate about functional movement techniques, creating and maintaining proper posture and injury prevention/rehabilitation.
Cory has participated in a variety of sports throughout his life including soccer, hockey, volleyball and golf. Cory enjoys working with athletes and teams of all ages and making them better on and off the playing field.

LANA ANDERSON- Personal Trainer

Lana has always been involved in sports and even now as an adult. She played competitive baseball and hockey and this translated into her adult life as she continues to play hockey and competed in a physique competition in 2017.

Lana’s passion in fitness is showing other women how they can perform compound movements and lift heavy to change their body composition and their outlook on what they “should” be doing in the gym. Lana wants to help people perfect their form so they can reach their goals by working smarter not harder while in the gym so they can recover and have the energy to do other activities that they enjoy!

Laura has over 13 years experience as an instructor and trainer and a lifetime sports enthusiast. She has competed in several bodybuilding competitions, bring home Gold and Silver medals.

Laura is a busy Mom of 2 and is passionate about exercise and the benefits that can be gained through regular activity. She motivates her clients to challenge themselves through functional movement patterns and strength building exercises. Laura has experience working with individuals of all ages.

Laura is available for morning and afternoon appointments.

LYN VEITCH - Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor & Running Coach

Coach Lyn is a seasoned gym rat that provides captivating and creative programs for her clients. She is eager to adapt the program to suit the needs of her clients. She provides supportive feedback and encourages her clients to progress outside their comfort zone. Lyn is a great motivator who meets people where they’re at on their journey. Her clients describe her as compassionate, creative, quirky, competitive and inspiring. Lyn loves coaching runners from beginners to ultra runners, track runners, cross country runners and everything in between.

JESSICA ELIASON - Personal Trainer & Fitness Instructor, Harriston Manager

Jessica has over 8 years of experience working as a fitness instructor and personal trainer.  She is a well-rounded trainer who has worked with everyone from athletes, seniors, pre and post natal clients and everyone in between.  Jessica also has 2 years of experience as a cardiac rehabilitation supervisor, helping clients recover and exercise in a safe, monitored environment.

Jessica is passionate about sharing the importance of living an active and healthy lifestyle, and would love to help you get started on your fitness journey today.

Mari-Anne has been a member of Dynafit for 20+ years, and has been a employee here for over 15 of those. She enjoys the positive, and encouraging atmosphere that welcomes health enthusiasts of all ages and abilities. 

In her spare time, she enjoys staying active and especially enjoys skiing in the winter. Looking back over her years here at Dynafit, Mari-Anne can see the benefits of exercise, not just for herself, but also for the many members that she has met over the years. Exercise is the key to staying strong, energetic, and healthy as you get older. As the old saying goes, "Take care of your body. It's the only place you have to live in."

Ali has made health and fitness a priority in her life since her late teenage years. Ali comes to us with a diploma in Marketing, as well as a post-grad Event Management certificate. Ali will be working with dynafit on our marketing and helping us to continue to offer an exceptional member experience through various events and promotions.  


JAIME REEVES - Certified Personal Trainer

Jaime began her coaching career with a just couple of dumbbells and an agility ladder, now she is queen of the barbell. She competes and coaches in Powerlifting and Weightlifting and can work with anyone from ages 9 to 99 to gain strength and fitness for everyday life.

Jaime grew up playing fastball and hockey and attempted to master the skills to every sport she encountered. She has been working with athletes since 2013

When you work with Jaime be prepared to get stronger, move better, get sweatier, and have loads of fun along the way. Work hard, play hard is the name of the game. Set goals and crush them with her help, every step of the way.

JEREMY SCHEERER - Personal Trainer

Jeremy has a passion for health and fitness. Nutrition and weight lifting are his expertise, making him an ideal trainer for anyone who wants to meet their fitness goals.

Jeremy is on the team at Replenish Food Co. where he creates personalized nutrition plans and assists with meal preparation.

Jeremy has a background in sports playing nearly every sport he could in high school. He loves training athletes and helping them to improve their performance on the playing field. He has placed third in past bodybuilding competitions and continues to train for future competitions.
